Plain endpapers, new. Original speckled edges to text-block. Some scattered foxing and staining. Otherwise internally very neat, bright and unmarked. Two hand-coloured plates (one, the Anatolian Greek, missing), two engravings (including a fold-out view of Theodocia/Kaffa). Very neat -- a firm and sound book.
