New York: Harper's Weekly, 1873. Original wood engraving by Winslow Homer. Image: 9 x 13 11/16 inches; Sheet: 11 3/16 x 16 inches. This first (only) impression was printed in Harper's Weekly, December 13, 1873. Both the woodblock and the electrotype plate were destroyed after the engraving was printed. This is a very good impression in very good condition. Now archivally matted and ready for a standard 16" by 20" frame. First Edition. Paper. Collectible-Very Good+. Illus. by Winslow Homer. 9 x 13 11/16 Inches. Fine Art Print.
