About This Item

New York and Washington: The Neale Publishing Cpmpany, 1913. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good binding. Signed. 8vo. in the publisher's sea-blue binding with titling in white (chalk); the titling at the spine has some loss, which is often the case with this chalk titling; 201 pages; there are no ownership marks in the book; however pasted on to the first blank leaf is a photograph of the author, Anna M. Doling, which has been signed by her and dated in her hand Jan. 1914.~~Brilla is the adopted daughter of a one-legged Confederate veteran. One of the more elusive of the Neale titles, and quite nice with the signed photograph. (Krick 112). Very Good binding.
