This is Nancy Drew binding style 4: frontispiece on plain paper, no additional illustrations, and wartime (tanning) paper, used from 1942 - 1946. Tandy. 12mo (5"" x 7.5"") Dated to 1946 because (other than the gift inscription) there is no wartime paper conservation notice on the title page, which was in effect during World War II, and there are ads in the back; and the printing/binding style changed in 1947.
