Boston: James R. Osgood and Co, 1871. First American Edition. Small Octavo. 183pp., Introduction by Henry ward Beecher. The author writes in his journal something about gardening each week through the nineteenth week. Bound in green cloth tooled in blind, spine lettering gilt, brown coated endpapers, chipping to spine ends, light wear to corners, binding lightly rubbed. A very good copy.
