About This Item
New York: G. Schirmer, 1943. Soft cover. Good. 6.5" x 9.5. A thought-provoking issue of this distinguished music journal, featuring articles/essays on Beethoven, Czechoslovakian composers, Martinu, and Griffes, plus reviews and book/record publication lists. CONTENTS: See accompanying scan image of the Table of Contents. 142 pages (illustrated with photos and musical examples). CONDITION: This copy lacks its covers, but the text block and its pages are unmarked. There is evidence, however, of past water-incursion, resulting in a few faint areas of discoloration and a very slight waver to the text block. This remains a quite respectable copy and valuable resource - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
