About This Item

London : Hodder & Stoughton, 1933. 1st Edition 3rd Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Bip Pares . First edition third printing from 1933 (originally issued in 1932). Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards clean with single bumped foreedge corner, small amount of gentle fading to the top 3mm of boards. Text block clean, with surprisingly gentle toning to top and bottom edges, more pronounced ont he fore edge. Feels gently read. Minor bump to foot of spine, faded head of spine corresponding to jacket loss. Pages clean and white, a touch of offset toning, and single small spot to FEP. Solid very good condition book. Scarce Bip Pares illustrated jacket has minor closed tears with associated creases to upper and lower edges. Spine gently sunned with rubs, and loss to head. Some rubs to fore edge corners and edges. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A solid very good example of this collectible H&S 2/- Yellow Jacket title, taking in to consideration it's age and that the scarce jacket is present this would be a nice addition to a collection.
