An uncommon title for Haggard. Red cloth binding, stamped with ruling, design, and titling on the front cover; gilt titling on the spine. Clean text; vii, 302 pages; with a two-page advert in the rear for the "Allan Quatermain Romances." Text very bright and fresh. Light soiling; bottome front corner has been bumped; the spine has faded a bit, with the gilt somewhat faded. No dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector. . First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. Illus. by Enos B. Comstock. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
