Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1871. Early reprint. Hardcover. Near Fine. 8vo. [5], iv, 172, [4] (pages of publisher's advertisements), [2] pp. Red brick cloth with gold lettering and decorations on the front board and spine. Illustrated with a frontispiece, a vignette title page, and several plates, wood-engraved. With a newspaper clipping from The Chicago Times, dated July 20th, 1897. The article says that Jean Ingelow is ill and may not recover. It also gives a brief biography of her life. Name on the free front endpaper, minor rubbing to the cloth.
