New York: Sidney Janis, 1988. First Edition. Softcover. New. 4to 11" - 13" tall. Piet Mondrian. Brand-new, just removed from shrink-wrap for proper collation, neither shelf- nor edge-worn, neither sunned nor marked as a remainder. Glossy pictorial covers, and 24 pp., unpaginated, of text and another 40 or so of fine reproductions in both full color and black-and-white of the catalogue of the exhibition at Sidney Janis Gallery, February - March 1980, the gallery's ninth exhibition devoted to Piet Mondrian. This exhibit featured painted works from over 40 years' work. Complete with Acknowledgments and a list of lenders, chronology and the like. This first American exhibition was made possible through loans from The Gemeentemuseum, The Hague, The Netherlands, of paintings and drawings by Mondrian.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
