This work was written by Margaret Drabble, an English biographer, short story writer and novelist. The novel follows the story of Rosamund Stacey, a young academic, when she falls pregnant and must learn to raise the child alone. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only very minimal discolouration to the head of the boards and spine. The wrap is very smart with minor slight marks and two small closed tears to the head and very minor shelf wear to the extremities. Internally generally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages and a very light mark to the title page. Lacking half title. Very Good Indeed
