Blue cloth with embossed title to front and gilt lettering to spine. 253 pp. This copy is VG+ in a VG, unclipped ($40.00) DJ. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by MOH winner, Ronald E. Ray to Adam Herbert ( former President of the University of North Florida, Chancellor of the State University system of Florida, and President of Indiana University) ," To : "President" Adam Herbert to my great friend- Adam-- Thanks for all your support and friendship over the years. With my deepest respect ! Ronald E. Ray ". Also SIGNED by Ronald Ray on page 181 which describes the heroism for which he won his MOH in Vietnam . Mr.Ray went on to become a Special Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce in 1974/75, the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Veteran Affairs in 1989, and served as the President of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society. Most of Mr. Ray's post military career was spent in Florida, which explains the ASSOCIATION in this PRESENTATION copy. The copy itself has very few minor flaws, which in no way diminish the wonderful provenance of this UNIQUE copy..
