About This Item

Hardcover with dust packet, published by Little, Brown, 2000. A later edition. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. A collection of 28 short essays that had originally appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire and other publications. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. There is a crease mark to the top right corner of the first 16 pages of the text - top right corner, 1-1/2" diagonal crease at the top right corner. Dust jacket shows only minor rubbing wear to the back panel. Teal green boards with blue spine and the author name and title imprinted on the spine in gold. Boards are flat, and the corners are not bumped or creased. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo.

Synopsis

Me Talk Pretty One Day, published in 2000, is a bestselling collection of essays by American humorist David Sedaris. The book is separated into two parts. The first consists of essays about Sedaris’ life before his move to Normandy, France including his upbringing in suburban Raleigh, North Carolina, his time working odd jobs in New York City, and a visit to New York from a childhood friend and her rather bumpkinish girlfriend.

About Hopkins Books

We're a small, independent, family run book seller specializing in current fiction and non-fiction, with an emphasis on Art, Art History, History, Memoirs, Travel Memoirs, Signed First Editions, and Literature in Translation.Do you have any questions about our books ? Let us know, we'd love to hear from you! Do you want to see a photo of a book before you order it ? We try to post as many photos as possbiel, but sometimes there will be a item in inventory that does not show a photo here. So feel free to ask for photos, we don't mind at all. We package all of our orders carefully either in a box that has been designed to ship books, or in a padded envelope. We want to make sure you receive your order in the best possible condition! Our preferred shipping method is USPS Media Mail. Recently, the USPS has added tracking to Media Mail , which has been a great addition to this service. If you do choose to have your order shipped "Expedited", my shipping cost may seem higher than expected. Some of our books are large format hardcovers that can cost quite a bit when shipped expedited. So I would like to make sure that I can cover the cost upfront. However, if the actual cost of expedited shipping is less than the charge, I will refund the difference!
