New York: The Nordau Committee, 1943. Nordau (1849-1923) was a co-founder, with Theodor Herzl, of the World Zionist Organization. Here is a biography co-written by his spouse and daughter. This is a Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copy of the First American Edition. [Translated from the original French.] Oatmeal cloth binding with titling in olive green on the spine and front cover. Tipped onto the cover is a portrait. of Nordau. Within there is a frontis drawing of him by daughter Maxa, and a photo of a bas-relief by Naoum Aronson on the reverse. Clean text; 440 pages. Includes a list of his works at the rear. Previous-owner signature on the FFEP. Very light bumping and with hints of darkeneing at the edges. No dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. Fifth Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
