In a price-clipped dust jacket. A science fiction novel, and the second book in Doris Lessing's cycle, Canopus in Argos: Archives. Inscribed (recipient not specified) by Doris Lessing on the page listing the series information, following the title page. Lessing writes, "Very sincerely yours, Doris Lessing, 17.7.80 (?) London NW6." With a postcard, signed and dated by Doris Lessing, laid in as well.
