Seattle and London: University of Washington Press, 1968. First edition, number 360 of 500 signed copies. Oblong 8vo, unpaginated. Map endpapers, illustrated by the author throughout. Signed by Steinbrueck on limitation slip which was previously tipped in to half title, and now laid in. Beige cloth in illustrated jacket. Nearly fine in like jacket, price clipped and showing a few instances of smudging. A sharp copy.
Signed, limited issue of this book from the important Seattle architect, Victor Steinbrueck (1911-1985) who was partly responsible for the design of the Space Needle. Steinbrueck also played a key role in the preservation of Seattle's Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market, the subject of this book. .
