Synopsis
Macbeth by William Shakespeare is a tragic play that delves into the destructive consequences of unchecked ambition. While some suggest an original writing date as early as 1599, it is more likely that the play was composed no earlier than 1603, celebrating King James' ancestors and the Stuart accession to the throne. Scholars believe Macbeth was written in 1606, following the Gunpowder Plot, with references and allusions to the plot and its trials. The play also reflects the political context of James' reign, exploring themes of kingship and rebellion.

Me and my step daughter shares a passion for Macbeth by William Shakespeare. It is a beautiful story that reaches to the depth of our souls.. She has hinted for the past 3 years how badly she would love the first addition of this book and all 3 years I have fell short and not able to get it for her. I'm hoping to win the $50 drawing so maybe I might be able to give her the only Christmas gift she's wanted for years.. With that being said good luck to me for her sake..
