Vintage paperback, Signet Non-Fiction T-3340; in 1965-66, Esquire Magazine reporter John Sack followed the 200 enlisted men and officers of M Company from advanced infantry training at Fort Dix, N.J., through its first combat in Vietnam. His book is one of the most memorable of that war; one-reader text is clean and unmarked, tight and square; white areas of wrappers show some slight age-discoloration, o/w minimal surface and edgewear. Collectable.
