Provenance: owned by P. M. B. Savage, renowned Headmaster of Summer Fields, Oxford until 1975 (signature on front pastedown). 18mo (170 x 100 / 6_"" x 4""). Ustinov was a comic master and polymath. This play was set in the aftermath of the 2nd World War, in the Austrian village of Herzogenburg, in the HQ of the Allied Military Administration (UK, USA, France, USSR). Cover design by Ustinov.
