First Edition/First Printing with all the requisite points including the FS colophon on the copyright page, jacket has correct first issue price of $2.75 and the correct back panel and flap info. This is a near fine copy in a fine, original dust jacket. A stunning presentation of the Jackson classic that is not remaindered, not price clipped ($2.75 intact), and not ex-lib. The book is in near fine condition with a crisp, tight binding (probably never read), bright lettering on the spine, and beautiful white pages throughout; only flaws to be found are some minor staining to both the front and rear paste downs and a very mild yellowing to the spine. Housed in a pristine dust jacket that shows only minimal shelf wear and a very minor darkening to the spine. This copy is by far the best I've seen and one of only a few on the market in this kind of collectible condition. Protected in a mylar cover and shipped in a sturdy box.

Description:
Cleveland, 1966. Faint toning. 11 x 8.5 inches. Title leaf of translucent paper with an original drawing by levy. Mimeographed. 12 pages, on rectos only. Stapled wrappers, front cover with original ink scarab drawing by the author mounted. One of 33 copies. A scarce publication by one of levy's unnamed presses, being Edouard Naville's translation of 'The Litany of Ra.' The large original drawing of a scarab on the cover is reflective of levy's interest in the symbol, which he used as the title of his collection 'Scarab Poems.' Though neither his name, nor that of one of his presses, appears in the text, this has all the hallmarks of levy's important mimeographed books, and appears less frequently on the market than others. A Very Good Plus copy in blue cloth binding that shows offsetting of the jacket design to the boards in a Very Good plus, unclipped dustjacket with some darkening and shallow edge wear to the spine along with two closed edge tears on the front panel. "These 13" was published during Faulkner's most productive and important period (1928-32), for his short story career.
