Among them are Hank Snow, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Scotty Moore, Elvis Presley, Mickey Gilley, and Merle Haggard. Peter Guralnick is an American music critic, author, and biographer known for his books on the history of rock 'n' roll and blues. Some of his notable works include biographies of musicians like Elvis Presley ("Last Train to Memphis" and "Careless Love") and Sam Cooke ("Dream Boogie").
