USA: Porter and Coates, 1890. New Edition . Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good++. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. New Edition Circa 1890. Undated but has a preface mentioning the 20th edition which was published in the late 1890's and the publishing company operated as Porter and Coates between 1867 and 1892.. 44 black and white plates. A lovely double volume edition of this classic work including the original cloth dust jackets. Books are fine and very bright. Wonderful gilt work. Contents good. The cloth wrappers are complete with rubbing to spine tops. Very light soiling but overall very nice. Includes the original cloth box. which has rubbing to edges but in good order.
