Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear beyond a very slight ding to front board fore-edge; not ex-library, with neither underlining nor highlighting anywhere. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear beyond slight crease over ding, not price-clipped. 180 pp. Banana Yoshimoto was to this point the author also of two other fine novels, and this collection of short stories contains Newlywed,: "Lizard," "Helix," "Dreaming of Kimchee," "Blood and Water," and "A Strange Tale From Down by the River," and then also "Afterword," and finally, "Afterword to the American Edition." Translated from the original Japanese, being a First U.S. Edition.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
