Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Nautical Publishing, 1968. This is a second printing of this UK edition. Signed by Sir Alec Rose and dated 1968 on a photo attached to the front endpaper - see photos. The true story of Rose's solo circumnavigation of the world on his boat, Lively Lady. 192 pages, with two sections of photos, 5-3/4" X 8-3/4". The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. Original price of 35s printed on the bottom corner of the front flap. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Blue cloth covered boards, with the title in gold on the spine. Top right corner of the cover boards is just slightly bumped inward. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Top-stain appears to be a bit faded. Edges of the text block show some faint foxing spots from age. Binding is tight. Not a library discard copy. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
