Paris: Challamel Aine, 1885. 2nd Edition . Very Good Minus. 6.5 x 9.75 inches (16 x 24 cm). Revised and enlarged second edition. Volume I only but complete in itself, this volume covers Chochinchina (Southern Vietnam) and Cambodia. Quarter dark green morocco leather binding with marbled boards. Spine has five raised bands, gilt lettering and ornaments. A little marking to boards and slight chipping to edges, good solid binding with no cracking to joints. Marbled endpapers. Browning to page edges and margins. Foxing to leading and trailing blanks, occasional patches to text. Two pages have margin markings in blue pencil. Light tide mark to lower and outer margins throughout. Tear and crease to lower corner of final page of text. Complete with the 8 plates, 4 fold-outs charts and 2 fold-out maps. French language. A nice solid example. Overall condition is Very Good Minus. Please Note: This is a heavy item and international postage will be more than the standard rate.
