Being an Account of Such Ecclesiastical Benefices in England and Wales, As Now Stand Charged With, Or Lately were Discharged from the Payment of First-Fruits and Tenths. London: Printed for R. Gosling in Fleetstreet [et al], 1728. [ii], xiv, [32], 475, [13] pp. Octavo (7-1/2" x 4-1/2"). Near-contemporary calf, gilt rules to boards, raised bands and gilt fillets to spine. Moderate rubbing and scuffing to boards and extremities, front joint starting, corners bumped and somewhat worn, hinges cracked, minor worming to front pastedown and a few following leaves. Light toning to interior, inkspots and light foxing to a few leaves, early owner signature (Harbin) to front free endpaper, annotation in similar hand to rear free endpaper. $75. * Third edition. This is a list of all of the churches in England and Wales and their sources of income. In most cases extracts from procurations, synodals and decrees creating sources of income are included. The first edition was published in 1711. It went through several editions, the final two with the title Thesaurus Eccesiasticus: An Improved Edition of the Liber Valorum (1788, 1796).
