Dublin: Printed by Graisberry and Campbell for P. Byrne, P. Wogan, J. Rice and W. Jones, 1795. Full Leather. Good. Stated fourth edition. Full calf leather. Xi, 214 pp. An English language edition, published in Ireland, of this work by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the noted 18th century French philosopher and writer, apparently translated into English from an untitled manuscript by Rousseau. GOOD condition. Leather cracked and split along the entire length of the front hinge and most of the rear hinge. Large area of discoloration/staining to the lower rear cover. Moderate to heavy scuffing, mostly to the extremities and spine. Mostly minor scattered foxing and spotting in the interior.
