Paris: Librairie Aristide Quillet, 1923. 1st Edition. Quarter Leather. Very Good Plus. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Type: Z 352pp. Text in French. Beautifully bound in quarter black leather embossed with decorative design and gilt embossed lettering to the spine. The front and rear boards are embossed and have gilt embossed lettering to the front board. Decorative end papers. Upper edges coloured red. There are numerous illustrations throughout including many colour and b/w plates tipped onto ilustrations pages with tissue guards. Light rubbing to the edges of the leather spine and light bumps to three corners, the fourrth being slightly turned in. The book is fresh and clean. A very well preserved copy.
