Superb first edition by the president and CEO of bedding giant Sealy (1924-2016), boldly inscribed and signed by him in black fineline on half-title page: "To Bob Malott: / Thank you for sharing / your leadership wisdom with / us. / Regards, / Howard G. Haas / February 8, 1993." Contributor's copy, Malott being among those CEOs interviewed for this book. Notes jacket front panel, "Based on more than 150 interviews with America's top CEOs, and on a breakthrough course at one of the world's most influential business schools." Robert Malott (1926-2018) was a noted Chicago business leader, CEO of FMC Corporation, Republican politico and philanthropist.
