About This Item
London: Rupert Hart-Davis, 1957. Some creasing and wear to the edges of dustwrapper, slight bumping to spine ends and corners of blue boards, original owner's bookplate inside front board, some browning to outer pages and foxing to page edges, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Deals with the author's travels in Persia in the mid 1950s, and particularly with the nomadic Falqani tribe of southern Persia (Iran) and their forced re-settlement by the Teheran government. 343pp.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
