Paris/Nancy: Berger-Levrault & Cie, Editeurs, 1908. The 1908 1st edition of this uncommon, very early study of the Wright Brothers and their plane, published in Paris and Nancy. Includes an elaborate fold-out, "une planche de dessins originaux" at the rear. Re-bound in a a tasteful, handsome navy-blue cloth, with leather title label affixed to the front panel. Solid and VG+, with very light foxing and offsetting at the pastedowns and newer endsheets. One very small tear as well at the title page and very light, forgivable browning to the original pages. Thin octavo, "Avertissement des Editeurs" followed by 30 pgs. of text and the map.
