S.l.: s.n., 1928. Hardcover. Very Good -. [6], 365, [1] p.; 25 cm. Original black faux-leather cloth with blind-stamped title at head of spine between double blind rules. Front board has blind-stamped emblem within triple-ruled border. Title vignette of eagle in front of stars, holding arrows and a olive branch, within a laurel wreath, the latter only printed in red. Title page is preceded by two pages: another title page repeating the eagle emblem without the wreath and adding "privately printed"; and a page of limitation stating that the edition was limited to 500 copies, but without a copy number or signature. This is the third of the pirate editions described by Lawrence in "My Skirmish with Jolly Roger." In Very Good- Condition: joints, center of spine, and corners rubbed; head of spine frayed; a few pages opened carelessly (resulting in chip out of upper edge of title page); slightly soiling along a few margins; back endpapers stained; slightly cocked but solid.
