This book is hard-bound in black cloth, with a gray cloth spine, with gilt stamping to the upper cover and with slightly faded gilt stamping on the spine, in a dust jacket with some light soiling/toning and light edge-wear. The covers show some light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean, with illustrations. This book is signed/inscribed by John Kenneth Galbraith on the front free end-page, and signed/inscribed by David Levine, on the half title-page, with an original drawing of a personified fountain pen. - From the collection of Cuthbert Christian Thambimuttu (1945-2019) of Columbus, Ohio - known to many of his bookseller, author, and illustrator friends as "Tubby."
