DW. Not price cliped (35s). Oddly I've seen other mentions of the book as a first with a 30s the price? Some inked notes internaly some of the first 75 pages. Nobel prize for literature 1969 sticker on the front cover. Slightly gruby cover with some slight chipping and slight sunning.

These pieces were ignored by critics of the era but now are considered distillations of his major thinking. For example, Ping existence of two very different kinds of literary politics. "Ping" is one of Beckett's "residua" texts from No's Knife, in this collection we have much on the battle between postmodern exhaustion and modernist epiphany. Bound in 1/4 pale green buckram lettered in gilt, backed in white calf lettered in gilt, all edges gilt, near fine in near fine publisher's cloth covered slipcase. Very nice.

However, it is bound identically with the so-called “A” copies, in quarter calf and buckram. In the publisher’s slipcase, which is a bit worn.
