London: Collins, 1980. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. (London: Collins 1980). First UK Edition. DOUBLE-SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND BY WARREN CLARKE (D. Supt ANDY DALZIEL. Publisher's red boards with gilt spine lettering. Spine tips just a touch pushed and a minor bump to the bottom right hand corner of the front board otherwise a solid near fine copy in like D/W. Dalziel and Pascoe # 6. Altogether an enjoyable performance, one of Mr Hill's best' (The Financial Times). NB: Reginald Hill and Warren Clarke died in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
