About This Item
New York: Benziger Brothers, 1952. First Thus. Hardcover. Very fine in very near fine box. Box with the tiniest trace of wear, merely by virtue of its modest existence on this side of heaven.. 704 pp. Original black cloth, titled in gilt on spine, IHS monogram in blind to upper cover, all edges red, with green ribbon marker. Presented in publisher's original grey cardboard box, illustrated in black with 'Made in USA' emblem and 'OREMUS' branding. A classic and copious prayer book, little with large type, which includes the Ordinary of the Mass etc., as well as Epistles and Gospels for Sundays and Holy Days. Although this title is rather common, this late Benziger issue in standard black cloth and with publisher's box in pristine condition is quite scarce. An exemplary, pristine copy.
