New York: Random House, 1942. First Printing . Cloth with Dustjacket. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY SAMSON RAPHAELSON. Play about a critic and a playwright that had a short run of 125 performances. Written by the screenwriter of many memorable films, The Shop Around The Corner, Trouble In Paradise, Suspicion and many others. Mr. Raphaelson is also the author of the original play The Jazz Singer. Four tiny spots of red dampstaining to the bottom of the front pastedown and endsheet. Light chipping and tears to the edges of the dustjacket and a small piece missing from the top of the spine panel. Vg/vg.
