The present volume, Jacobo Sedelmayr, portrays an ardent, energetic and dedicated man, adds a highlight to the tapestry of adventure and exploration that was woven by the soldiers of the Cross and of the Crown in western North America. Father Dunne has preserved the all the fresh vision and immediacy of the original documents through his translation. A fine bright copy bound in beige cloth stamped in gilt, spine lettering gilt, in tan dust jacket lettered and decorated in red and black, stain to right edge of jacket's front panel chipping to head of rear panel. A very nice copy.
