Paris: Goupil & Cie, 1906. 1st. Original Wraps. Collectible; Very Good. THE VERY UNCOMMON 1906 TRUE 1ST STATE, LIMITED TO ONLY 100 COPIES AND INCLUDING AN ADDITIONAL SUITE OF PLATES. VG+ in its original wrappers. Light offsetting to the front panel and light chipping at the spine ends. Thick quarto, 171 pgs., printed on Japanese Imperial paper. Plates inside the text are immaculate and include their original captioned tissue-guard. The addtional suite of plates (also tissue-guarded) is very, very clean as well. Housed in publisher's green cloth chemise--with bright gilt-lettering to spine--and gilt-decorted cloth slipcase. Both the chemise and slipcase are bright and sturdy and VG+ to Near Fine. A very handsome production.
