Loosely inserted flyer promoting 2nd edition 1915 seeking donations in aid of the Irish nuns to retrieve their fortunes, "so sadly shattered by the War" . When German army attacked Ypres the Irish Dames were forced to flee to safety. An eyewitness account of bombing and shelling and Allied recapture. One of the nuns was the neice of John Redmond, MP who wrote the introduction. 400gms weight; B&W Illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 202 pages .
