Ipswich: Vick, W., 1890. Hardback. Half leather. Oblong. 20cm x 28cm. Spine relaid. [2], 36 photographic plates mounted on stiff card, each with a page describing the history of the scene depicted. The letterpress pages are affected by foxing ranging from moderate to severe. First and last few plates a little foxed, the rest with a few spots to the margins only. A bonus is the pencil manuscript comment by each plate, dating from between 1913 and to 1929 describing how the scene has changed. A second volume was published in 1894.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
