Cambridge, MA: The MIT Press, 1998. First U.S. edition, first printing. Hardcover. Features an introduction by Klaus Bussmann. Includes 264 duotone images of various industrial settings with the focus of this monograph on the fronts of factory buildings. A tight close to near fine copy in cloth boards with some bumping to the top rear corner that also impacts the top corner of the text block and in a near fine dust jacket with the same bumping to the top rear coner and some other minor wear. The Becher's are the subject of a major retrospective exhibition that is currently on view at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art after a well reviewed run at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Books are subject to prior sale. Libraries, institutions, and accredited dealers in the United States can be sent books with invoice. All books noted as First Editions are also First Printings unless indicated otherwise. Books are returnable for any reason within 10 days provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent.
