London, Herbert Jenkins Ltd. 1915 1st. Hardback, 8.5 x 6 inches. Grey cloth with gilt lettering to spine, white lettering and paneled yellow skyline design to front. Blind embossed vignette on rear. In very good condition. Extremities rubbed, corners bumped, spines slightly darkened with small nicks to ends and corners of boards. Some handling marks to endpapers, previous owners label at front, Times Book Club label at rear. Halftitle page darkened and foxed. Some foxing to title page and dark spots to outer page edges. Plates clean and bright. Else a very good clean and tight copy. Scarce. 363pp. Illustrated with 24 colour plates and 100 B&W sketch drawings in text by the Author.
