Jacket with John W. Jarvis color portrait of Black Hawk and son to front panel. --- With prior owner's signature to front free endpaper, slightly misaligned lower edges of the first few leaves (due to binder's error), else a tightly-bound, sound copy. Jacket with a few small tears and chafed edges, otherwise intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; xiii, 384, xiv, (2) pages .
