Perfectly readable, usable copy. Sections are paginated separately, and with 719, 232, and 243 pp. Gilt spine and flap titles and flourishes; all page edges gilt. Black-and-white illustrations galore, diagrams, four foldout diagrams; empty pocket to inner rear flap perhaps to keep scratch-paper? Quite sharply distinct title in gilt on spine reads: "Traction Engines, Young Engineer's Guide."Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
