New York: The Viking Press, 1954. 273 pages. Price clipped. Really a very nice copy of the First Edition. Clean, well bound, no marks in book block or writing. Light -yellow-brown boards with title on front cover in red. The dust jacket is actually very nice save for the price clipping. One very small rip which I very carefully tape-repaired from the inside.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Synopsis
Sweet Thursday is a 1954 novel by John Steinbeck. It is a sequel to Cannery Row and set in the years after the end of World War II. According to the author, "Sweet Thursday" is the day after Lousy Wednesday and the day before Waiting Friday.
