Edinburgh: W. & R. Chambers Limited, 1922. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket. 8vo - Large (over 7¾" - 9¾"). N/a. 292pp. 1922. 8vo. large sized. First edition. A very good minus, clean, tight copy in original publisher's burgundy cloth - gilt embossed to the spine. The text supported by a frontispiece of Robert Louis Stevenson. The fixed front endpaper has been largely removed and an ink name inscription to the head of the following page. Original publisher's burgundy cloth - gilt embossed to the spine. All five plates including the frontispiece as called for. Some age toning to the spine, but the titles in gilt remain bright. A faint oval shaped stain mark to the upper fore-edge. Missing the fixed front endpaper but otherwise a very good copy.
