New York: Willima Morrow & Company, 1960. First Edition. Hard Cover with Dust Jacket. Fine/Near Fine. Quarto. SIGNED AND WARMY INSCRIBED TO DR. ROBERT P. BRITTAIN, life-long friend of Mr. Gardner and professor of Forensic Medicine at Leeds University, and frequent lecturer at the Homicide Investigation Seminar at the Harvard Medical School, where Gardner was often a pupil. Dr. Brittain was also dedicatee of Gardner's book "The Case of the One-eyed Witness" and, it was said, a remarkable lecturer; he was a lawyer as well as a Medical Doctor. A fine copy in a so near fine dust jacket. 208 pp.
