Nice copy of this extremely scarce work specifically focused on the Hudson Highlands between Stony Point and Cornwall, NY. Contents include: biography of William Thompson Howell (photojournalist whose images of the area assisted Dr. Edwin Partridge in his work to make the Highlands a national park), Storm King, Fishkill Mts, Cross Country Walks, Bear Mountain, Two Days in the Highlands, Cro' Nest, Mt. Taurus, An Outing on Dunderberg, Skating on the Hudson, Forts Montgomery & Clinton, Bee Hunting in the Highlands, and Camps of Proved Delight (the camps include: Storm King, Silver Spring, Popolo, Dunderberg, Cro' Nest, Anthony's Nose, Cedar Ponds Camp).
