About This Item
Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Company, 1906. First Edition. Signed presentation from Scherer on the front endpaper: "Dr. O.B. Mayer from the friend James O.B. Scherer. May , 1906." Scherer was a former President of Newberry College with Mayer being a prominent local physician. Also with the signature "Harriet Mayer Reid, 1955," who I believe is somehow associated with the college. A very scare title!. 12mo., gray cloth, stamped in red; 210 pages. Very Good (little spoil base of spine; contents clean & tight with little light foxing to first few pages).
